Today we will continue the #AlumniWednesday series in which we introduce to you one of our amazing alumni. Today will feature Sebastian Patulea, 2014 Aspire Academy Alumnus who graduated in Business Administration with Computing at The University of Kent, United Kingdom. He is currently doing his Masters in Finance and Investments at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
Sebastian considers one of his greatest accomplishments to be the fact that not only did he graduate from The University of Kent with a First Class Honors degree, but, at the same time, he managed his own portfolio of investments which achieved a 16.2% return after taxes. Moreover, Sebastian currently works as Head of Value Investment at a student investment fund, managing real-world equity portfolios based on a value investing strategy. His current responsibilities include coordinating a team of students extremely passionate about investments, giving seminars on valuation and modeling, as well as providing feedback on investment proposals and pitches. He and his team are currently drafting a fund prospectus with the aim of becoming the Erasmus University’s first official investment fund, in order to attract funds from companies and to expand their professional network. This sounds really exciting!
